Countdown to ARETE camp!
Wah, finally after few months of preparation, venue searching, cost counting and prayer, ARETE camp is just less than 24 hours away!First of all, I will like to thank Abigail and the camp team who has led this through! There are few challenges and the greatest if getting a reasonable size and cheap venue. This is not easy and God never too early or late to answer us! We are going to Golden Mile complex for all teachings, praise and worship and theme night!
What a place for a spiritual event to take place. It's an unusual place. I was reminded that Jesus bring the message out of the temple courts and to the market place. A very unusual place for him to stay and minister to the people, but that's what he did!
Ha! We are going to surround ourselves with the thai people and those who are traveling out of Singapore. (Golden Mile is where travel agencies located!)
Whenever, I think about camps, there are many good memories boils in my heart! Let me share with you if you have not register for camp, I suspected these are the reasons why you should miss camp!
1. Too much love and laughter among the brothers and sisters
2. Too strong of the presence of God that may change your life right side up
3. You didn't know that you have at least a talent to show us
4. Overnight with friends scares you off (you droll, snores or sleep walk?)
5. Too clear a challenge from the Word of God that may "ruin"your life?
Alright, do consider to join us tomorrow!
For those who have packed and waiting for the camp tomorrow... sleep early and see you tomorrow at 12pm! It will be a world changing event and someone trembles very soon...."grin"
